It was a beautiful day at Alpental...

Heather...

Jill...

and I...

put on our boots...

and began the ascent.

There were exotic flowers...

and boulder fields...

and mossy rocks...

Pretty soon we were above snow level.

The last mile was solid switchbacks, and Heather was leading at a good pace, but it was worth it all when we came to Snow Lake.

We stopped at the lake to eat & drink...

Heather: "I'd give you a bite of my sandwich, but then you'd want the whole thing."

and Jill killed a bee that was attacking me!

Isn't it gorgeous?!

The end!

Beautiful photos! This looks like an amazing hike, and a perfect day for it. I would say with perfect company, but since I wasn't invited to go with........

Hi Rose, this is Amelia. How are you doing? Well, I get emails from total beauty and I clicked on an article and there was a girl looking at some makeup and I swear that it was you. Were my eyes decieving me?

My elastic is tight these days - all buttons to be popped have popped, but did walk 4 miles today so yeah me!

On another note, I heard this best upcoming artist this weekend… our church hosted Jason Gray… he was incredible (!!!)… he deals with a stuttering handicap, but sings better than anyone… if you link below & click on the left where it says “Launch Juke Box” you can hear one of my favorite songs he sang called, “Losers”… it’s whimsical and incredibly meaningful all at the same time… happy Monday!!!

Ok, I am a big dork... I just copied this comment from another comment and copied too much of my comment. The piece about my elastic being to tight is not supposed to be here. That had to do with a blog on exercise. Now I feel like 5 cents!!! :0). However, the piece on the music is. Enjoy!
