But what's not sad it the latest hiking adventure I went on. And it was definately an adventure. It was beau-ti-ful! It was myself, Jill, and Heather. First of all, we saw a bear. It attacked me! Just kidding, it was one ridge over, just hangin out in some grass, probably eating some berries or some small woodland creature. And we made our way through a ton of snow (looked like an avalanche!), and we actually didn't make it to Lake Melakwa because we decided we'd rather not die falling through the snow to the river below and live to face the bear. :) Kind of a toss up, I know.
Anyway, life is good. Life is busy. Summer's here! Sort of. It's raining today, but I'm looking forward to a ton more hikes!

Welcome back to the blogosphere! I thought you had left for good, for sure. That hike looks like a riot. So glad you weren't killed or eaten or frozen. There's something special about that top photo... some timeless element, like it's the 1800s, or the entire background is just a backdrop.
Yahoooooo! My twin is back - no more staring at your shank backsides! You're gorgeous, as usual! What a fun hike! I've been kinda MIA from my blog too, so I'll extend grace to you - since it's been so freely given to me....yes, Lord. I'm just gonna stand up and intercede for you right now!
yippee. you are back! i am so happy. i have to admit i still checked even when there wasn't anything new - just hoping that one day there would be. and then out of the blue there you are. my day is now complete.
