Last night after homegroup I got home, parked my car, and as I walked to the house, I saw the stars in between the low parting clouds. I haven't seen them in so long; they were beautiful. Even this morning as I was watching the sunrise, I thought how looking up to those things can instantly change my perspective. That it's not so much about me as I think it is. There's a much bigger, more beautiful picture that I can imagine; but the wonderful part is that I was chosen to be apart of it.

That is a great reminder, and a lovely thought. :)
and the mountains! this morning....did you see the mountains? hey, sometime you and i need to go star-gazing together...
Oh yes. I take 520 to get to work, and there's always such a great panoramic view of the mountains! and instead of taking my exit, I was compelled to keep driving all the way into Redmond, where I complimented the Lord on His mountains and sunrise. ...and yes! let's go star-gazing!
Stars rock.
Coming toward 405 on 90 on a clear day is amazing. You come over this slow bend and then *KA-BLOWIE* there are the Olympics in all of the white-peaked majesty. It can, at times, take ones breath away.
Yea! I drove that way today. And it's reassuring to know that they're still there. I think it's the first time I've seen them all white like that. Usually they just look like gray sky shadows, but now it looks like they're so close you can touch them.
Ok... So I did see how clear it was out and yes it was lovely... But with the clear sky’s comes the cold weather this time of year and I also woke up to ice on my car window this morning... Not something you look forward to when you are running late for work!
Douglas...
I lived in Seattle for six months before I saw & realized there were any mountains nearby. It was shocking & beautiful.
Coming from the South the mountains are captivating yet so beatiful, it truely takes my breath away. When It's clear out you can see the mountain like its right next door. Heck, if you look past the mountain, its so clear you can practically see little china men fishing off the coast of japan...
